Maharaja Tour of Rajasthan lets you explore the Palaces and Forts where the Raja, Maharajas of Rajasthan stayed. Some of the Palaces are still residence of the royal families by which you can know their lifestyle, how they lived, what they liked and many more things about them. Day 1: Delhi
As soon as you arrive at Delhi airport you will be greeted and welcomed by our representatives. Check into your pre-booked hotel and enjoy the rest of your day. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Post breakfast Delhi sightseeing will begin. First visit will be at Red Fort which points towards beginning of Mughal era, Humayun’s Tomb which was inspired by Persian architecture, Qutub Minar which is the tallest masonry minaret in India. Next visit India Gate, Rajghat where legend Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and Lotus Temple belonging to Bahai Religion. In the evening visit Akshardham Temple and feel at peace. Later on explore Chandni Chowk and Connaught Palace for shopping. Return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra (232 km)
After an early morning lavishing breakfast the tour will head towards city of iconic Tajmahal- Agra. Visit Agra Fort where Shah Jahan was held prisoner by his son in the last days of his life. This white beauty is a brilliant reflection of Mughal architecture, Itmad-ud-Daulah which is an example of Islamic architecture and then to Wildlife SOS which is a wildlife welfare organization. In the evening visit Tajmahal which looks amazingly beautiful in the sunset. It was made by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. The gardens surrounding it add beauty to its feathers. Return to the hotel and relax.
Day 4: Agra – Gwalior – Agra (119 km)
The next tour destination of Maharaja Tour of Rajasthan will be Gwalior which is famous for its temple and palaces. On reaching there visit will be at Gwalior Fort where you will see three temples and six palaces where the carvings will attract you. The next stop will be at Sun Temple, Jai Vilas Palace Museum where the architecture is of bygone era, Memorial of Tansen and Tigra Dam. Later on drive back towards Agra. Check into the hotel and relax.
Day 5: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (243 km)
Post breakfast the tour will proceed towards Jaipur- the Pink city. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri where its amazing interior buildings like visit Buland Darwaza, Diwan-I-Khaas, Jodhabai Palace, Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and Jama Masjid will leave its onlookers awestruck. Here you will witness different architectural style like Hindu Rajputana style, Islamic Mughal style, blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture and many more. Continue you tour towards Jaipur. Check into the hotel and relax after a long day.
Day 6: Jaipur
Post breakfast Pink City tour will begin. First visit will be at Amer Fort and going up at Amer Fort enjoying Elephant ride, and the view from the lake of Amer Fort is amazing. Next halt will be Jaigarh Fort, Naharagarh Fort and Jantar Mantar observatory. Then visit Albert Hall, Jaipur Zoo, City Palace and Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal was built for royal ladies so that they can enjoy the street view from inside. In the evening visit Birla Mandir situated at Moti Dungri. Return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 7: Jaipur – Samode (41 km)
After having your breakfast the tour will proceed towards Samode. Visit Samode Fort which reflects Mughal architecture, Samode Palace is blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture and is excellent place for photography. Next visit will be at Samode Haveli and Govind devji Temple. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 8: Samode – Mandawa (144 km)
Post breakfast head towards Mandawa which is famous for its colorful Haveli, Wall Paintings. Visit Mandawa Castle, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli which reflects Rajput lifestyle, Murmarai Haveli, Open art Gallery, Double Haveli and Harlalka Well. Explore shopping streets in the evening. Return to the hotel and relax.
Day 9: Mandawa – Bikaner (192 km)
The next tour destination will be Bikaner. Post breakfast you will be heading towards Bikaner where you will visit Junagarh Fort which is blend of Gujarati, Mughal and Rajput architectural style. Visit Lalgarh Palace which reflects Mughal, Rajput and European architectural style. Next halt will be Gajner Palace and Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary. In the evening visit Karni Mata Temple which is devoted to Karni Mata and where rats are permanent resident here. Return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 10: Bikaner – Nagaur – Khimsar (155 km)
Today the tour will head towards Khimsar via Nagaur. En-route Nagaur and visit Ahichhatragarh Fort which was a gift from Mughals to the ruler of Jodhpur in 18th century and Kaanch Ka Mandir. Continue your tour towards Khimsar. Check into the hotel and relax. Stay overnight.
Day 11: Khimsar – Jodhpur (98 km)
In the morning, after having your breakfast explore the villages and the temples in the villages. Then halt at Khimsar Fort which was built by Rao Karamsji. Then explore the sand dunes and enjoy the different shades of sand along with the camel Safari. Continue your tour towards Jodhpur. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 12: Jodhpur
Post breakfast Jodhpur tour will begin. Firstly visit Mehrangarh Fort which reflects architectural style of various periods as it was completed in many years, Jaswant Thada where you will be mesmerized by the intricately carved porch, garden and pond. Next visit Umaid Bhawan Palace which is blend of Indian and European architectural style and where you will see a luxury Hotel and a museum, Mandore Gardens and Clock Tower. Check into the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 13: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (259 km)
Post breakfast the tour will proceed towards Udaipur. En-route visit Ranakpur, famous pilgrimage place for Jainism. Visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, Surya Narayan Temple and Chaumukha Temple. Continue the tour towards Udaipur. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.
Day 14: Udaipur
After having your breakfast the tour of City of Lakes will begin- Udaipur. Firstly visit will be at Lake Pichola where you can enjoy boat ride and where you will witness Lake Palace in one of the Islands of the Lake. Next visit City Palace from where you will get amazing view of Lake Pichola, Bagore Ki Haveli, Sajjangarh Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Kumbalgarh Fort and Jagdish Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In the evening visit Fateh Sagar Lake and enjoy boat ride with amazing view of sunset for a lifetime memory. Return back to the hotel and relax.
Day 15: Udaipur – Delhi (663 km by air)
Post breakfast you will head towards Delhi via air where you will be guided for your ongoing flights.
