Culinary Tour of India takes you to fantastic places which will make your tour memorable and cherished. You will visit places like Lucknow, Kangra, Amritsar, Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Explore the Forts, Palaces and enjoy delicious local and specialty cuisines which are famous in each of the tour destinations
Day 1: Delhi
After your airport arrival you will be greeted and welcomed by our representatives. They will escort to your pre-booked hotel. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi tour
Post breakfast the Capital city- Delhi tour will begin. Visit Red Fort which was architecture of Mughals, and then visit Lotus Temple where there is peace all around, Humayun’s Tomb which reflects Persian architecture, Qutub Minar which is the tallest masonry minaret in India. Then visit Lodi Gardens, India Gate, Raj Ghat and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Later on in the evening explore Chandni Chowk and Connaught Palace, for shopping and tasting Mughal cuisine. Return to the hotel and relax.
Day 3: Delhi – Dharamshala (475 km)
The next destination of the Culinary Tor of India will be Dharamshala which is a popular tourist spot due to presence of Dalai Lama. Upon reaching there check into the hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day enjoying yourself. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Dharamshala
Post breakfast the full day excursion of Dhramshala will begin. Visit McLeod Ganj which is famous for Tibetan Culture, handicrafts and Temples. Next pay a visit at Masrur where there are many rock cut temples, Dal Lake which is surrounded by thick deodar and juniper forests and Namgyal Monastery which is house to many Tibetan monks. Return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 5: Dharamshala – Kangra Valley - Dharamshala (17 km)
After having your breakfast, head towards Kangra Valley. Visit Kangra Fort and Tibetan Museum built by Raja Susharma Chandra in around 1500 BC, Brajeshwari Temple which is the most spiritual place, Jwala Devi Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple and Bir which is major Tibetan refugee camp. Drive back to the Dharamshala and relax.
Day 6: Dharamshala – Amritsar (202 km)
After having your lavishing breakfast, the tour will proceed towards Amritsar. On reaching there check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day. Stay overnight.
Day 7: Amritsar
Post breakfast Visit Golden Temple which is pride of Sikh’s and the golden body surrounded by majestic pond where they offer you mouth watering Halwa as Prasad. Then pay a visit at Jalianwala Bagh where public mass murder was done by British People, Wagah Border, Durgiana Temple, the Akal Takht and Tarn Taran Sahib. After having a spiritual day, return to the hotel and relax.
Day 8: Amritsar – Delhi (449 km)
Today the tour will head towards Delhi – the Capital city which is a perfect place for combination of tradition and modernization. On reaching there check into the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening visit Akshardham Temple and seek blessing from god. Later on explore the streets to shop some handicraft items to make the tour memorable. Stay overnight.
Day 9: Delhi – Jaipur (268 km)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to the Pink city where you will come across many Forts and Palaces. Check into the hotel and relax for a while. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.
Day 10: Jaipur
After having your breakfast you will be visiting Amer Fort which is blend of Hindu-Muslim architecture and where in the interiors of Amer Fort you will come across Ganesh Pol, Sila Devi Temple, Sheesh Mahal and Man Singh Palace. Tour of Fort is incomplete without Elephant ride, so enjoy elephant ride. Next visit Jaigarh Fort where you will be stunned by seeing the largest moving canon Jaivan, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar observatory which is a world heritage site, Hawa Mahal and City Palace. In the evening visit Birla Mandir and have a spiritual evening. Return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 11: Jaipur – Agra (243 km)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to Agra. En-route Fatehpur Sikri and visit Buland Darwaza one of the largest gateway in the world and perfect reflection of Persian and Mughal architecture, Jodhabai Palace, Diwan-e-Khas and Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti. Continue your drive towards the city of iconic Tajmahal- Agra. Night stay will be in Agra.
Day 12: Agra
Post breakfast visit Tajmahal which looks amazingly stunning in the sunrise. When the sun rays fall on the Tajmahal the beauty will leave you awestruck and the lush greenery all around adds beauty to it. Next visit Agra Fort, Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid and Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah. After having a fascinating day, back to the hotel and relax.
Day 13: Agra – Lucknow (337 km)
The next tour destination of Culinary Tour of India will be Lucknow also known as “City of Nawabs”. Check into the hotel and enjoy. Stay overnight.
Day 14: Lucknow
After having your lavishing breakfast, visit Bara Imambara which includes Asfi Mosque and Labyrinth (Maze). Next pay a visit at Hazratganj, British residency, Rumi Darwaza which reflects Awadhi architectural style, Dr. Ambedkar’s Park and Moti Mahal also known as Palace of Pearls. Return to the hotel at night and enjoy your dinner.
Day 15: Lucknow – Kolkata (991 km)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to Kolkata known for its art galleries, festivals and architecture. Visit Howrah Bridge, Jorasanko Thakurbari which is ancestral residence of Tagore Family, Victoria Memorial located on the bank of Hoogly River and Marble Palace Mansion. Return to the hotel and relax.
Day 16: Departure
Check out from the hotel and from there you will be escorted to the airport, where our representatives will give you details regarding your further journey.
